Nate Robinson plans to pick up 2014-15 player option

According to a report from Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post, Nuggets guard Nate Robinson plans to pick up his 2014-15 player option with Denver worth $2.1 million.

Robinson's season was cut in half due to a torn ACL. In 44 games with the Nuggets, he averaged 10.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 19.7 minutes per game.

The 5-foot-9 guard will most likely continue to serve as an offensive bench spark for the Nuggets. However, his role may be subject to change, as Dempsey's report also mentions that Denver GM Tim Connelly is hoping to acquire an "impactful piece" this offseason.
