Analysis:
The aging Billups had a season to forget during his first year back with the Pistons. He was nearing a return to the court toward the finale of the season but ultimately never managed to make the comeback. This does however bode well for a strong return to action heading into the offseason before a new campaign. While there will be some major question marks regarding his ability to play, the Pistons would love to have a veteran leader on the hardwood to mentor some of their young talent. Even if he stays healthy next year, the 37-year-old has many hurdles to face, before he gains the attention of fantasy circles.
