Joakim Noah: Sore Knee Not Serious

Noah's sore left knee isn't considered to be a serious concern, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Noah boasted play worthy of a Defensive Player of the Year, which has yet to be announced but hardware that he may soon add to the trophy case. What makes the feat even more incredible is playing through the aforementioned injury during the entire second half of the season, when he missed no action en route to 37.3 minutes per game. No matter, the Bulls were clearly undermanned against the Wizards in the first round, and his output -- 10.4 points, 12.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 0.8 swipes in 42 minutes per contest -- was shy of his regular season numbers.
