Bobcats' McRoberts undergoes foot surgery; out at least 4 weeks

Charlotte Bobcats forward Josh McRoberts underwent successful surgery Wednesday to remove bone spurs from a toe on his left foot, the team announced.

McRoberts averaged 8.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game for the Bobcats this season. 

Charlotte is hopeful of re-signing McRoberts, but according to Marc Stein of ESPN, the 27-year-old is expected to decline his $2.8-million player option for next season and become a free agent.
