Jefferson says that he does not expect to need off-season surgery on either his ankle or his foot, the Charlotte Observer reports.

Analysis:

Although Jefferson is still considered doubtful for Monday's Game 4 due to a torn plantar fascia in his foot, he says he likely will not need off-season surgery to repair the injury. Jefferson also had an ankle injury back in December that he thought he may need surgery on after the season, but it appears as if that won't require surgery either, which bodes well for Jefferson's off-season plans and training in preparation for next season.
