Jefferson (foot) said he will play in Wednesday's Game 2 against the Heat, CBS Sports reports. He told Ken Berger of CBS Sports that he's, "suiting up" and "It'll take more than that to make me sit down."
Analysis:
It sounds as if the tear Jefferson suffered to his plantar fascia in Sunday's Game 1 won't hold him out of Wednesday's tilt. He didn't practice Tuesday, but with it being the playoffs, Jefferson will likely fight through the injury and take the court Wednesday. However, the question remains how effective Jefferson can be while playing through the injury.
