Knicks' Chandler on losing season: 'Everybody needs to go back and look in the mirror'

It will be difficult for Knicks fans to look back on the 2013-14 with great enthusiasm. Apparently, the same goes for New York center Tyson Chandler.

During the Knicks' season-ending press conference on Friday, Chandler was not shy to criticize the performance of his team, and called for change.

"I feel everybody needs to go back and look in the mirror,’’ Chandler said to Marc Berman of NY Post. “Whatever players are here, whatever coaches are here. I’m not in position to say who stays, who goes. But whoever is going to be here next year needs to understand what happened this year and not allow history to repeat itself."

The Knicks finished the season with a 37-45 record. Chandler suffered a back injury and only appeared in 55 games, posting per-game averages of 8.7 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks.
