Ty Lawson: (Ankle) Expected Out Wednesday And Unlikely To Return This Season

Lawson (ankle) did not practice Tuesday, is not expected to play Wednesday, and is not close to returning, the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

What seems to be happening is that Lawson is openly stating that he's hopeful to return this season, but given that the team is out of playoff contention and that Lawson is reported to be dealing with the worst ankle sprain of his career, it seems highly unlikely that we'll see him back on the court this season. His absence makes Aaron Brooks pretty much a must-own player in all standard leagues.
