Dyson was acquired by the Suns as part of a three-team trade on Friday, the Hornets Team Website reports.
Dyson was acquired along with Brad Miller from the Hornets and Wesley Johnson from the Timberwolves in the deal. Dyson appeared in nine games for the Hornets last season averaging 7.4 points per game including a 24-point performance against the Grizzlies. He will add guard depth to a rebuilding Suns team.
