Ty Lawson: (Ankle) Suffers Worst Sprain Of Career

Lawson said the ankle sprain he suffered in Friday's game is the worst one he's had, and it was so swollen it looked "like there's water in it," the Denver Post reports. "Hopefully a couple of days I'll be back right, get the swelling down," he said.

Analysis:

Lawson put up 16 points and three assists in 32 minutes, before limping off the court, after rolling his ankle in the fourth quarter. He left the arena in a walking boot and might not play again this season, as the Nuggets only have six games remaining and the team has nothing to gain by running him back out there. It's possible he could be back before the team's last game on Apr. 16 against the Warriors, but owners will want to start targeting Aaron Brooks, as he'll likely get at least a couple starts in Lawson's absence.
