GIF: Suns' Gerald Green throws down the self alley-oop

Basketball fans everywhere know that Phoenix Suns guard Gerald Green can throw down with the best of them. Most of the time it's a lot of fun to watch too, so long as Green leaves his cupcake at home.

But Green's slam in the fourth quarter of Friday night's game between the Suns and the Portland Trail Blazers was special. This wasn't an uncontested dunk on the break, this was a basketball play pulled off in a close game (in fact it resulted in a lead change in Phoenix's favor). 

Stakes don't mean much to Green, apparently, as he set himself up for a self alley-oop in a half-court set while being guarded (using the term guarded lightly, the Trail Blazers were pretty permissive here):
