Knicks' Felton fine after rib bruise Wednesday

Joe Camporeale / USA Today Sports

This is not how we thought we'd be writing "Raymond Felton" and "ribs" together, but here we are.

No, the New York Knicks point guard didn't order some sideline delivery on Wednesday, though the Knicks' blowout of the Brooklyn Nets certainly would have allowed for it.

Instead, the point guard suffered bruised ribs early in the third quarter after falling hard when trying to go for an offensive rebound. He returned to the game, however - question why, in a 29-point blowout, if you will - and seemed no worse for the wear.

Felton would finish the game with five points and three assists in 20 minutes, while the Knicks moved into the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference.
