Trevor Ariza: Injured Groin Saturday

Ariza injured his left groin during Saturday's win versus the Hawks, the Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

The Wizards' home court was slippery due to condensation from a hockey game played earlier Saturday in the same building. While numerous players lost their footing throughout the evening, Ariza emerged worse for wear and is unsure if he'll be able to play Monday at Charlotte, despite finishing out the game after initially suffering the ailment in the third quarter. He's slated to receive "a lot of treatment" prior to traveling for the upcoming road tilt, but if he's unable to go, Martell Webster is the likely candidate to start at small forward.
