Bynum (knee) did not make the trip to New York for Wednesday's tilt with the Knicks, the Indianapolis Star reports.

Analysis:

Bynum drained a concerning amount of fluid from his knees on Tuesday, so the fact that he's sitting this one out should be no surprise. He's played in just two of four games since making his Pacers debut, and it would be safe to expect he won't play in much more than 50 percent of the team's remaining regular season games. His real value to the Pacers may have to wait for the playoffs to arrive to present itself, in which case would be too late for anyone still rostering him for the remainder of the regular season.
