Richardson, who has yet to play a game this season, incurred swelling in his knee which has stunted his rehab and possibly his chance to play this season, the Daily Times reports. "Like I told (Sixers coach Brett Brown) when we talked a month ago, if it's 10 or 15 or two games, I want to come back. That's my goal. That's my motivation. If it doesn't happen, (my goal is) get ready for next year," said Richardson.
Analysis:
Richardson is about the only veteran on a very young Philadelphia team. He seems motivated, but even Brown acknowledged that Richardson has a slim chance of playing this season. If he were to somehow return, the aging veteran wouldn't likely have much fantasy impact to close out the season.
