Ryan Anderson: Back Not Healing Well

Anderson (back) said Monday that his herniated disc isn't healing and he still experiences tingling in his fingers, WVUE FOX 8 reports.

Analysis:

Anderson will receive another opinion Tuesday, but this latest update doesn't sound promising for the power forward or his fantasy owners. With the herniated disc still a major issue and the Pelicans far out of contention, a 2013-14 return doesn't seem particularly likely. Looking beyond this season, it's rather worrisome that Anderson's herniated disc isn't healing properly.
