Jrue Holiday: (Leg) Done For The Season

Holiday (leg) underwent successful surgery to correct a stress fracture in his right tibia and will miss the remainder of the 2013-14 season.

Analysis:

Holiday had missed the team's previous 23 games after the stress fracture was revealed on Jan. 8. He'll finish his first season with the Pelicans averaging 14.3 points, 7.9 assists and 1.6 steals in only 34 games. Brian Roberts figures to continue to fill in as the starting point guard, while Austin Rivers will also see increased run.
