Señor Odom makes lackluster debut with Spanish club Baskonia

Lamar Odom returned to the court on Thursday for the first time since reports of a drug problem surfaced in August.

Odom signed a two-month contract with Spanish club Baskonia last week, and in his first game with the team, he finished with a pitiful two rebounds and three fouls through six minutes.

The 2011 Sixth Man of the Year also showed a "lack of match fitness" as Baskonia went on to lose 81-71 to Unicaja Malaga, the club where Goran Dragic's brother Zoran currently plies his trade. Odom didn't appear in the second half of the game due to "aches and pains" in his body, something that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

"That's normal at his age after being 10 months out of the game," said Baskonia coach Sergio Scariolo after the loss. "They are typical muscle problems so we just want to be cautious. We'll see how he is tomorrow."

Baskonia's next game is Sunday against Valencia.
