New Clipper Glen Davis will not play Monday, could debut Wednesday
The Los Angeles Clippers signed forward Glen Davis on Monday and he was originally expected to be in the lineup when the team takes on the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night.
However, around 6 p.m. (ET), the Clippers' official account tweeted that Davis would not play Monday, instead taking a physical Tuesday and debuting on Wednesday against the Houston Rockets. Shortly after, the Clippers deleted the tweet, though we were able to screengrab it:
Update: The Clippers once again tweeted the news out.
UPDATE: Glen Davis is at the arena in NOLA, but will NOT play vs Pelicans. He will take required physical on Tues & should play Weds vs HOU

Okay, so they were just changing the wording, not playing mind games with the Pelicans.
So no Davis on Monday, is the point.
