Holiday (leg) is expected to return to action within the next week, the New Orleans Advocate reports.

Analysis:

Holiday was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right tibia over a month ago, but appears to be edging back to being fit to play following last weekend's All-Star break. However, given the tricky nature of his injury, Holiday's progress should probably be monitored closely over the next week to confirm his return is indeed forthcoming. Should Holiday re-enter New Orleans' lineup, point guard Brian Roberts, who has played commendably in Holiday's stead, would likely be relegated back to a reserve role for the Pelicans.
