McGee (leg) is expected to decide whether or not he will undergo surgery on the stress fracture in his left tibia by Mar. 1, the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

McGee has been out since early November but has been able to begin doing lower-body exercises recently. However, the tibia has still not healed to the point where McGee is close to returning. If he does opt for surgery, it would mean the end of his season. McGee was expected to be the Nuggets' starting center this season, but the injury has forced J.J. Hickson and Timofey Mozgov into increased roles.
