Analysis:

Ankle ailments to both Kenyon Martin and Amar'e Stoudemire provided an opportunity to make a mark in the second half of January, when Tyler logged double-digit minutes in four of the final seven outings of the month. Tyler averaged six points (on 61.3 percent shooting), 3.6 boards, and 0.9 blocks in 14.1 minutes during that span, but frequent DNPs are likely in his future.
