Reports of a prior ACL repair surgery for Gallinari were incorrect, as his doctor recommended delaying the surgery in hopes that the ligament would strengthen enough to play without the traditional procedure. That, obviously, didn't work out, as Gallinari had the ACL repaired Tuesday and will miss the rest of the season as a result. He's expected to be able to return early in the 2014-15 season.
