Jrue Holiday: (Leg) Out Indefinitely With Stress Fracture

Holiday has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right tibia and is out indefinitely, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Analysis:

This is potentially devastating news for the Pelicans, as stress fractures can keep players out for extended periods of time. For now, it's difficult to discern how long Holiday will be out, but the team will certainly provide a prognosis in the near future. In the meantime, consider Holiday out for both of New Orleans' weekend contests against Dallas. In 34 games this season, Holiday is averaging 14.3 points, 7.9 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 33.6 minutes. If he's out for an extended period, which seems very likely, Tyreke Evans should see a significant increase in value.
