Middleton will head to the bench for Tuesday's game at the Lakers, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Coach Larry Drew has opted to place two point guards, Brandon Knight and Luke Ridnour, into the starting lineup, while Giannis Antetokounmpo takes over at small forward for Middleton. As a result, a hit to Middleton's output can be expected due to his line as a reserve this season - 9.1 points (on 54.2 percent shooting), 2.1 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.7 treys in 21.3 minutes per contest. Because the Bucks are inclined to dole out 30-plus minutes nightly to their talented rookie, Antetokounmpo, Middleton may only have a bit role off the bench for the foreseeable future.
