Hakim Warrick signs in China, hopes to return to NBA

Hakim Warrick has signed with China Basketball League's Liaoning Jiebao, with hopes the power forward will soon be able to return to the NBA.

Warrick, 31, was drafted in the 19th overall in the 2005 NBA draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. In the 2006-07 season, Warrick started a career-high 43 games.

Warrick, a Philadelphia native who played his college ball at Syracuse, bounced around between the Bucks, Bulls, Suns, Pelicans and Bobcats before he was traded to the Magic. He never suited up in Orlando and was later waived.
