Sixers sign a pair of guards after cutting Brown, Morris

Less than an hour after Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reported that both Kwame Brown, and Darius Morris had been waived by the Philadelphia 76ers, the team has announced their replacements.

Free agent guards Elliot Williams, and Lorenzo Brown were plucked off the free agent market Tuesday, with terms of both deals yet to be disclosed, per the team's official website.

Williams hasn't seen the floor since the 2011-12 season, appearing in 24 games with the Portland Trail Blazers before being waived by the Cleveland Cavaliers last month.

(Lorenzo) Brown, the 52nd overall pick of Minnesota Timberwolves in 2013, has yet to play any regular-season minutes in the NBA.

While Sixers coach Brett Brown credited the (Kwame) Brown and Morris cuts as moves to enhance roster flexibility, the 15-man has since been filled out, just hours later.
