Blazers Wesley Matthews: All Star ballot omission is 'ridiculous'

The NBA released their All Star ballot on Friday, and a player, notable absence took exception. Blazers guard Wesley Matthews is averaging 15 points and 5 rebounds a game, as well as shooting 54 percent from the field, and yet, his name doesn't appear on the list.

How does that make him feel?

“I just laughed. It’s ridiculous. You know what, I may never get my dues, but it’s not going to stop me from doing me....I’m going to kill everything. The Game got this mixed tape out titled Operation Kill Everything. That’s all I’m going to do. Gotta take respect.” - Blazers G Wesley Matthews

There were three Blazers on the ballot: Damian Lillard, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Nicolas Batum. Perhaps, with a 3-point percentage of 50%, he'll be asked to participate in that contest. It doesn't appear that he'll be on the court in Houston for the actual game.
