Chris Copeland: Undergoes Knee Surgery, Out 6-to-8 Weeks

Copeland underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee and will be out for six-to-eight weeks, the Pacers' official site reports. He's expected to be ready for the start of training camp.

Copeland is expected to serve in a role very similar to the one he played for the Knicks as a rookie last season. He'll come off the bench to help stretch the floor and provide efficient scoring in the second unit. Copeland shot 48 percent from the field and 42 percent from three-point land last season.
