Jason Maxiell: Two-Year Deal With Magic
Maxiell (eye) has agreed to a two-year deal with the Magic, Yahoo! Sports reports.
An eye injury cut Maxiell's 2012-13 season short by nine games, but the 6-7 power forward turned in serviceable totals in 72 games with Detroit (6.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 24.8 minutes). He's expected to be healthy well ahead of the start of next season, and Maxiell could have an expanded role on tap for the rebuilding Magic.
