Norris Cole News: Cole averaged 5.6 points and 2.1 assists on 42.1 percent shooting for the Heat in 2012-13.

Cole averaged 5.6 points and 2.1 assists on 42.1 percent shooting for the Heat in 2012-13.

Cole had a solid second year with the Heat and played in 80 games, with four of those being starts. Though he saw his scoring average drop slightly, he improved his shooting percentages and cut back on his turnovers. Cole played 19.9 minutes per game and served mainly as a backup to Mario Chalmers in the rotation. He is under contract for next season, and with his rookie contract, he is under the Heat's control through 2015-16. If Chalmers returns next season, Cole should have a similar role for the Heat.
