Johnson received solid run in the beginning of the season (20.9 minutes per game in December) but his minutes began to taper off in February and March. Beginning on March 5, Johnson left the team, citing personal reasons, and only played in one of the Kings' final 20 games. Why Johnson left the team remains unknown but he's a restricted free agent this offseason and the Kings have not publicly stated whether they intend to bring him back.
