Stephen Jackson: Waived By Spurs

The Spurs waived Jackson on Friday, Art Garcia of FOX Sports Southwest reports.

The reason for Jackson's release was not immediately provided, but he will not finish the season with the team. Other teams will be able to claim Jackson, but since he was released so late in the season, he will not be eligible for a postseason roster.
