Roy (knee) may not appear in a game over the final two months of the season, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. On Wednesday, coach Rick Adelman stated, "If he does play, it will be a pleasant surprise. I don't expect him at this point."
Roy, who was forced into early retirement in December of 2011 due to degenerative knees, attempted to make a comeback in the 2012-13 campaign. However, his knees once again failed him, as he only appeared in the Timberwolves' first five games of the season. Roy had right knee surgery on Nov. 19 but suffered a setback in late December during a workout. Due to his tough road back, it's difficult to foresee fantasy relevance in the near future or long term.
