Wall takes parting shot at Schroder after Wizards oust Hawks

It took two years, but John Wall finally got revenge on the Atlanta Hawks, and one player in particular.

The Washington Wizards point guard exploded for a playoff career high 42 points "for the culture" to lead his squad to a convincing Game 6 victory that eliminated the Hawks.

Following the contest, the All-Star posted a celebratory Instagram photo of him crossing over Dennis Schroder.

Earlier in the series, Wall stole the ball from Schroder and went coast to coast for a breakaway slam before staring down his opponent.

He later admitted the animosity stems from the meeting between the clubs in the 2015 East semis, which saw Wall injure his hand before Atlanta won in six and Schroder shared this photo:

Wall, who didn't take kindly to that visual, averaged 29.5 points on a true shooting percentage of 62.3 to go along with 10.3 assists, four rebounds, and 1.7 steals in six games versus the Hawks this postseason.

Suffice to say, he got the German back.

How's the taste of that medicine, Schro?
