Marcus Smart isn't about to flop in the face of pointed comments from Jimmy Butler.

Things have gotten heated while the Boston Celtics have stormed back to even their series against the Chicago Bulls at two games apiece. Emotional spark plugs Butler and Smart have naturally dominated the spotlight in the budding feud.

Butler got into a skirmish with Smart in Game 4, and said after the game that Smart wasn't "about that life." The message got back to Smart, who chuckled at the suggestion Tuesday.

"I laugh at that," Smart began. "Man, this is about Celtics versus Bulls, not Marcus Smart versus Jimmy. I ain't gotta sit here and say this or that, I'm this, I'm that. ... My actions speak louder than words.

"It ain't hard to find me. Right now I'm focusing on my teammates."

Smart was later asked flat-out if he was indeed about that life, and laughed again.

"Like I said before, I ain't gotta talk about what I am, I can show you," Smart said. "I can show you but I'm not gonna tell you ... You heard him. He said, 'I don't think Marcus Smart is about that life.' Last time I checked, if you're gonna say someone ain't about that life, you should know, right?"
