The Golden State Warriors have become Damian Lillard's Moby Dick.

After Monday's Game 4 loss Lillard's Portland Trail Blazers have had their season ended by the Warriors the last two years, and the point guard says he's determined to take them down.

"You have to be obsessed with that because you know that they're so good that they're going to be there," Lillard said Monday night, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes. "That's who you're going to have to get through to get to where you want to get to. That's what it is."

Lillard was mostly stellar for Portland in the sweep, averaging 27.8 points. He only shot 28.1 percent from beyond the arc, but the Blazers had little chance anyways against a Dubs squad that now has an 18.3 net rating after four playoff games.

"You also got to understand that if you ever want to get out of the West, you're going to have to go through them," he said.

Lillard, who grew up a Warriors fan in Oakland, said he will draw inspiration from what the "Jordan Rules" Chicago Bulls faced against the Detroit Pistons' "Bad Boys" almost 30 years ago, finally breaking through against them in 1991.

"I think about when the Pistons were just beating up on (Michael) Jordan," Lillard said. "Just kicking his butt every year, and he had to get through them if he wanted to get to where he wanted to get to. That's just what it is ... they're going to be there every year. We have to look at that and understand that we got to be better."
