Derrick Rose misses playoff basketball.

With his New York Knicks back in the lottery, the 6-foot-3 point guard opted to take in Sunday's Game 4 matchup at the United Center with his son, hoping to soak in the atmosphere he became accustomed to during his time in the Windy City.

"I just wanted to show him a good time. That was it," Rose told K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Tribune. "It seemed like a good series and I just wanted to be around a playoff atmosphere."

While Rose realizes that some were confused to see him show support for his former team, the Chicago native says he hasn't forgotten all the good memories he had with the Bulls.

"If I was by myself, it might be a little bit weird. But I'm with him," Rose said, pointing to P.J. "He makes it a lot easier. I look at all that happened in the past. The memories will always be there. My heart is still here when I visit. I just love basketball, so I had to watch."

Sunday's matchup wasn't the only game Rose attended over the weekend, as the former MVP was also spotted at Saturday's Game 4 thriller between the San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies.
