Trail Blazers to hold Nurkic out of Game 4 with leg injury

There's a chance Jusuf Nurkic has already played his last game of the season.

The Portland Trail Blazers center has been ruled out for Monday's Game 4 versus the Golden State Warriors, coach Terry Stotts told reporters Sunday, including the Oregonian's Mike Richman.

Nurkic suffered a non-displaced fibular fracture in his right leg in March, which forced him to miss the last seven games of the regular season and the beginning of the playoffs.

He started in Game 3 following a nine-game absence, and put up two points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and a block in 16 minutes in the 119-113 loss.

With Portland trailing Golden State 3-0 in the series, that could be the last we see of Nurkic in 2016-17. It's unclear if he re-aggravated the ailment Saturday, or if the team wants to focus on the long-term health of its pre-trade-deadline pickup.

Noah Vonleh figures to reclaim the starting spot at the five, while it's expected Meyers Leonard will see more floor time with the "Bosnian Beast" back on the shelf.
