Watch: Westbrook, Oscar Robertson discuss triple-doubles, careers

NBA/YouTube

Oscar Robertson's record of 41 triple-doubles in a single season was once viewed as one of the more untouchable milestones in basketball, similar to that of Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game or Bill Russell's 11 NBA championships.

That record is no longer his, though, as Russell Westbrook tallied 42 for the Oklahoma City Thunder this campaign to become the new king of the triple-double.

The two recently sat down to discuss Westbrook's journey to No. 42, their respective games, as well as express mutual respect for one another.

Their careers will forever be linked because of triple-doubles. All records are meant to be broken, and by the sound of it, The Big O couldn't be happier that someone the caliber of Westbrook has stepped up to snatch his from him.
