Jimmy Butler delivered on his promise to check Isaiah Thomas in all the moments that mattered.
Butler was tremendous down the stretch of Game 1 on Sunday, as he carried the Chicago Bulls' offense while smothering the Boston Celtics' top player. He would finish with 30 points and nine rebounds on the night in 41 exhausting minutes.
The eighth-seeded Bulls took a crucial 106-102 victory in Game 1 thanks to Butler's heroics.
