Russell Westbrook's dominant play wasn't enough to lift the Oklahoma City Thunder to victory in Game 4.

Despite becoming the first player in NBA playoff history to record three straight 30-point triple-doubles, Westbrook and Co. failed to even their first-round series with the Houston Rockets, falling 113-109 on Sunday.

Westbrook finished with 35 points, 14 rebounds, and 14 assists, becoming the first player since Wilt Chamberlain in 1967 to record three straight triple-doubles in the playoffs.

The All-Star point guard was outstanding throughout the first two quarters, recording 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in the first half alone.

After dominating throughout the regular season, Westbrook's continued his torrid pace in the first round, averaging a triple-double entering Sunday's contest.

Down 3-1, the Thunder will look to bounce back at the Toyota Center on Tuesday.
