Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis: Ruled out of season finale

Porzingis (back) has been ruled out for Wednesday's season finale against the 76ers, Steve Popper of The Record reports.

Analysis:

Porzingis will conclude his second NBA season with five consecutive absences, as the tanking Knicks continue to list him on the report with a sore back. With Carmelo Anthony, Lance Thomas, Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose all ruled out Wednesday, as well, the Knicks will likely give heavy minutes to the likes of Ron Baker, Justin Holiday, Courtney Lee, Willy Hernangomez and Maurice Ndour, as was the case Sunday against Toronto.
