Clippers' Chris Paul: Near double-double in Monday win

Paul tallied 19 points (5-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), nine assists, five rebounds and four steals over 29 minutes in Monday's 125-96 win over the Rockets.

Analysis:

Paul's scoring total led the starting five and he played an integral role in keeping the Clippers' goal for the No. 4 seed alive. The veteran point guard's 41.7 percent success rate from the field was his lowest over the last seven contests, but he continues to provide above-average production across the stat sheet. Monday's contest represented his third consecutive with multiple steals as well as his 11th straight double-digit scoring effort. With the Clippers having plenty to play for in Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Kings, Paul should see a normal allotment of minutes in that contest.
