Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson: Out Monday vs. Heat
Thompson (thumb) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Heat, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Analysis:
Thompson will miss his fourth consecutive game with a sprained right thumb, but the Cavaliers haven't closed the door on him returning for the regular-season finale Wednesday against the Raptors. In addition to Thompson, the Cavaliers are holding out LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and (likely) Kevin Love, so almost all of the team's reserves should see sizable increases in playing time.
