Kings' Ty Lawson: Second straight double-double Sunday

Lawson started at point guard and finished with 20 points (7-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 11 assists, two rebounds and one steal across 28 minutes during Sunday's 135-128 loss to the Rockets.

Analysis:

Lawson has sat out three of the Kings' last five games for rest, but he's been excellent in the two contests he's suited up for during that span, registering 20-point, 10-assist double-doubles both times out. It helped that coach Dave Joerger has held fellow veteran point guard Darren Collison out Sunday, and it seems likely that Joerger will stagger his usage of the two players for the Tuesday/Wednesday back-to-back set to wrap up the season. Because Lawson is only likely to play in one of those games, he'll have more limited appeal in season-long leagues with weekly lineups, but the 29-year-old should be an appealing, cost-effective DFS option whether he suits up Tuesday against the Suns or Wednesday against the Clippers.
