Pelicans' Alexis Ajinca: Posts season-high scoring total Saturday

Ajinca posted 17 points (8-14 FG, 1-1 FT), six rebounds and one assist over 29 minutes in Saturday's 123-101 loss to the Warriors.

Analysis:

Ajinca drew another start with Anthony Davis sitting for rest and posted a season-high scoring total. The seven-year veteran has shot 62.5 percent (15-for-24) from the field over the last two games while averaging 6.5 rebounds during those contests as well. Ajinca could see additional starts to finish off the season if the Pelicans opt to sit either DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) or Davis over the final two games.
