Celtics' Amir Johnson: Out Saturday

Johnson will not play in Saturday's matchup versus the Hornets due to an illness, Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reports.

Analysis:

The absence will be Johnson's first since Jan. 11. Look for Kelly Olynyk and Jonas Jerebko to pick up the majority of Johnson's minutes. His next chance to return will be Monday against the Nets, but do not be surprised if the Celtics opt to play it cautious with the big man in order to ensure his health heading into the playoffs.
