Spurs' Manu Ginobili: Will sit out Friday vs. Mavericks

Ginobili (quad) has been ruled out for Friday's matchup with the Mavericks.

Analysis:

Ginobili will be missing a second consecutive game with a quad injury, although it could be more precautionary than anything considering the Spurs are headed into a back-to-back set. With Danny Green (thigh) and Kawhi Leonard (rest) also expected to sit out, Kyle Anderson and Jonathon Simmons should get the bulk of the work on the wings, while Bryn Forbes is another potential candidate to get added work at shooting guard.
