Rockets' Ryan Anderson: Full participant in practice Thursday

Anderson (ankle) went through a full practice Thursday and remains on track for a potential return Friday against the Pistons, Calvin Watkins of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Anderson has been sidelined for six consecutive games with an ankle injury, and while the swelling has gone down, it appears he's still dealing with some lingering discomfort. He also mentioned some soreness with his Achilles, so there's still a chance the Rockets opt to give Anderson another game off for rest. Look for his status to be updated following Friday's morning shootaround, but both Anderson and the coaching brass are optimistic that the big man will be able to return to action before the playoffs kick off.
